My story begins a long time ago. As a child I was allowed to or rather encouraged to explore artistic endeavors, it wasn’t long before I discovered my mothers 35mm camera (an Olympus OM2 SP) and thus I spent good deal of time taking photos only for the love of the craft. At the time I knew little about photography and even less about the camera I used, in fact I only knew how to configure the f-stop so that I had an adequate amount of light. As time passed my and teenage years loomed on the horizon I slowly moved away from photography and as most teenagers do I got caught up in life. After I graduated high school I joined the Army National Guard and went off to college, during this time frame my mother sold her old camera

mainly because she never used it and I had never officially laid claim to it. And as things would follow I couldn’t afford a new camera whilst in college. In the last year (now that I’m pushing 30) I was finally able to get my first D-SLR (Nikon D-40) and since then I have been pouring my self in to my photography trying to learn all that I can.
